My Wedding Chronicles : Part 3 (More Budget)
As my previous part 2, i only touch my wedding ceremony's costs and budget. However it did'nt stop there.. As Akad Nikah ceremony is the most important part of the ocassion, its sure dig up the wallet too. Our akad nikah will be held a day before the wedding reception, and as agreed in the engagement mutual agreements, it will be 7 trays of hantaran from me to my fiance and 9 trays from her to me as a return. Then comes the cost of cincin (which for me im adopting a bracelet instead), the attire for both of us, make up, & a small kenduri feast after. Depends on the individuals ours might cost RM2k each for hantaran plus another RM4k for the bracelet, attire, make up n kenduri mentioned. Pheww! That add up to RM36k for total cost. And i know how fast money could be spend, so another RM5k back-up budget should do the trick.

My Wedding Chronicles : Part 2 (The Plan)
Its allready March, so me and fiance has agreed on most of the things. We planned to have a single reception for both side as to cater our financial plans and budget. So i match the RM10k hantaran amount and both of us add up another RM5k each, so we have a handsome RM30k budget for the event. We also decided to hold it in a local hotel ballroom after considering few points. With a budget around RM50 per head for 500 guests, the RM25k will cover the venue, foods, vip table, guest table arrangements, gift & attendance table, waiting room, p.a system, decorations, banner and the grand pelamin. Not to forget the honeymoon suite and discounted rate for family members room and parking. Everything will be prepared by the banquet manager with full force of hotel staffs. With 80% tasks allready managed, we only need to work on the baju bersanding, make-up, bunga telur, thank you goodie bags, invitation cards and photographers. That's where the RM5k balance will be allocated. Is it enough? A very good survey plus friends recommendations will able to squeeze into that budget. While if we plan for hall type of wedding, there will a lot more of bookings, confirmations, findings as each tasks would be from different service and person. Plus it will be difficult to organised a group of managers to be on our benchmark. And yea, no honeymoon suites too :P

My Wedding Chronicles : Part 1 (Intro)
Ive just upload a app called "blogit!" for my android phone. Hopefully from now on, i can post more while on the move.
So i've decided to start a new project on my wedding ocassion, all the journey and all the preparations will be shared on my blog, as a journal towards the big day. Hopefully it will benefits some for their preparations too. As i may not cover all your dream plans, at least we'll know where to look and start. :)
Well, as for start im engaged to my lovely fiance on the 31st December 2011, which we agreed and decided to hold the ceremony later this year, on 22nd December 2012 (22.12.2012). We spent RM2K each for the engagement ceremony which i spent most on the engagement ring, and her most on the kenduri and pelamin. Other main budget are mostly on the hantaran, as for engagement it consist more on sweet stuffs and food, such as cakes and choc. We save a bit on the budget as my mom did the hantaran arrangement herself.
Done the 1st part. Now to the next step. Planning the wedding. :)
